Homemade Popcorn in a Suitcase!

Last weekend I taught a necklace class to some "sisters" at my church.
We had many classes and called the event "Super Saturday"!
We were asked to bring a snack to share and at the end of 4 hours,
we had a buffet table filled with homemade soups!

I brought one of my vintage suitcases and lined it with wax paper and a flour sack cloth.
Then I made my HOMEMADE popcorn that has become a big hit for those who have tasted it!
For Girls Camp, I am always asked to make trash bags full of it! :)
1. I use a huge pot on the stove, turn heat up to med. high.

2. Pour enough popcorn to cover the bottom of pot.

3. Pour Canola oil in pot, enough to just cover the top of the popcorn and let it pop!

I do not stir it until the very end when the corn has come to the top. Remove from heat.

Stir, then add table or sea salt to your liking.

Everyone will swear you buttered it!
It will last up to a week in a air~tight container.
I just leave mine in the pot on the stove!

Lucy Goes To Hollywood!

This adorable 1962 Oasis trailer belongs to my friend Anita!

She fall in love with vintage trailers and Sisters on the Fly
when she saw my little vintage trailer on the side of my home!
We became friends and the rest is history!
This is her second trailer that she bought recently.
Of course it didn't look like this!
Her theme is "Lucy Goes To Hollywood"
She loves I Love Lucy and went all out on her trailer!
I am sure we will see it in a magazine or book soon!
When she gets the inside already for show, I will post about it!

Thanks for visiting!

Used My Trailer at Market!

It was a very hot day at market on Saturday!
But as always, it's always so nice chatting and visiting with customers.
A few pictures of the inside of the trailer.
Wish I could have used my air~conditioning!
It was 100+!
I am adding vintage wares to my inventory.
I will always have my handmade goodies too.

Pictures of the outside.
Love making the cute pincushions!
My crocheted dishcloths usually sale out...
and my vintage style tags are a huge hit.
Need to make more cowgirl ones. They all sold out.
Most customers who buy the vintage patterns are young women
and they are going to use them!
I am already thinking for next months market!
I have some pretty crystal to add next time along with
Halloween and Thanksgiving GARLANDS!

Lots of ideas running through my head! :)
Thanks for visiting!

YoYo Lamp Shades!

Have you ever made something you intended to sale or give,
but ended up keeping it? Well the story goes like this...
I am getting ready for a marketplace show this weekend, making things.
I bought this lamp set at a garage sale and thought I needed to do something with the shades.
I pulled out my yoyo jar and went to work.
When I was done, I said "I can't sale them!"
They look so pretty at night too!

Be careful what you re~do for might end up keeping it!
I need to get some backbone! LOL!
Have a wonderful day and thanks for visiting!
