Santa is Coming!

Each year I put out this sweet Christmas scene of "Christmas Eve".
The scene surroundings change each year.
This year I added my bleached Christmas trees I made last year.
I used canning jars, salt shakers and teacups!
Isn't she adorable? She reminds me of my granddaughter Sadie.
A tiny tree in a tiny salt shaker!
How did Santa know?!
It's like Winter in a jar for year~round!
Even a tree on top of a jar!
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful day!

Christmas Hot Chocolate Bar

Hot Chocolate Bar

For Thanksgiving Day I set up a Hot Chocolate Bar for the Holidays.
It was a huge success!
At the end of the night, the 4 dozen cookies were almost gone, and pretty much everything else needed restocking.
I will have this set up through New Years.
Hubby and I love to use it, especially in the evenings.
Mini chocolate chips for those who can't get enough chocolate!
Used my cherished vintage jars.
Mini peppermint sticks for those who like a bit of minty.
Have to have marshmallows
4 dozen...Chocolate Chip Mint & Heath Bar Chip.
Gotta have my favorite on hand, herbal tea.
Give a Hot Chocolate Bar a try.
You will be the bee's knee's if you do!

Have a warm & cozy day my friends!

Tailgating Time!

Source of pictures: Maryjane's Pinterest

Oh, how I love this time of the year!

Have you ever had a tailgate picnic? They are so much fun.

For many years we would gather our family
at the end of November to cut down our Christmas tree.
We always had a tailgate picnic!
The colors...and the hunt for the perfect spot!

Cool and crisp. The excitement!
What to bring?

*Dad's Sunday Chicken Sandwiches*
*Mom's Potato Salad*
*Grammy's Baked Beans*
*Maryjane's Cherry Cobbler*, oh my!
(cherry cobbler recipe here)

*Hot Chocolate*
*Hot Apple Cider*

Nothing like Fall...
You will be singing all the way home,
with a grateful heart!

Have a wonderful day!
