Crocheted Egg Basket For Gathering

I have a few ways I gather my eggs each morning
but this is my favorite.
I have had this sweet crocheted basket for years and
keep it hung in the coop along with a wood basket & a wire basket.
Gathering eggs couldn't be any sweeter with these cheerful pansies!
I thank my hens everyday for their
labor of love.
Wishing you a wonderful week
leading up to a beautiful Easter Day!

Multitasking

The last couple days I have been multitasking!
Do you ever have days like that …
maybe most days?
Dishcloths for a shower, pincushions, potholders & mug~rugs
for the shop HERE.

And lots of water to keep dehydrated!
Like my mug~rug?

I use one everyday in my craft room to keep any spills or

condensation under control.

Table stays dry and no watermarks on the table!
Keeping busy is a good thing!
Look how cute this mug~rug is!

I have this one in my shop HERE
It sales out often, so I keep adding it back.
I love the fabric!
Have a wonderful day and …

Make Everything Around You Beautiful

  "Make everything around you beautiful".
I try to do that, even with a kitchen drawer full of pretty potholders!
I added a new collection of potholders to my
All reversible and cute as can be!

Sewing with different fabrics always takes me down memory lane…
I truly love to sew!
I have been sewing since I was 12 years old.
My parents bought my first sewing machine when I was 14,
and my Grandfather Carnie made a beautiful sewing table out of cherry wood.
I still have both.
 Aprons!
"Sew" retro!
They are thick, durable and a very nice quality.
My crochet dishcloths go along perfectly with them, don't ya think?!

Roses remind me of growing up.
We had a white picket fence lined with roses of all different colors.
Thanks to my Mother & Grandmother's, I love roses too!
I have added some of my rose garden to my shop for you!

Quick Baby Gift For Someone in Need

Yesterday my churches women's club Relief Society President
put a shout~out that a new Mommy was in need of baby supplies.

Anything that one could give would be greatly appreciated.
In the early afternoon I started to crochet a small baby quilt
and just before heading to bed, I had it done.

Just a basic straight single crochet stitch and
finished it with a ruffle edge.
That is actually all I know how to do!
As soon as I got up this morning I made 4 burp clothes.
Made from new cotton diapers and flannel
These are so fast and fun to make!
I had all the supplies already in my stash!
I love when things come together.

In a couple days my President Sally will take
all the gathered "gifts of love" to this new Mother.
A sweet thought for the day …
