Family Recipe ~ Succotash!


Our family has been making this Succotash side-dish for Thanksgiving tables for more than 5 generations now!

Are you a Southern girl like me? I grew up on this dish, but instead of green beans, we used tiny butter beans, otherwise known as baby limas. Thanks for tweaking a great memory of my mom's fantastic cooking.

Oh My Stars! where on earth did you find the lovely purple toile dish? I Love it! I have a few burgandy collector pieces, but had no idea they came in purple!
