It really is the best stuff ever...we had it at our 4th of July BBQ and it was the first thing gone. My husband is the only person I have met who doesn't like it and he is pickier than a child. Yummy!

My gosh- I have been making the same casserole for about 100 years and I have NEVER put the cornflakes on top of it. I always grated my cheese and put that on top. I am going to try yours the very next time I make it- xo Diana

I LOVE these! A Utah/Idaho staple for sure. I too have never made them with the cornflakes on top, so next time they're getting cornflakes.
Now for a question--what about Shepard's Pie. Do you have a version you like to make? It's another one of my favorites, but everyone makes it a bit different. Love this good old fashioned family food!

Hi Maryjane! My sweet friend Darla J. told me about your wonderful blog and I'm so glad I came by to visit, as it's one of THE most charming little spots here in Blogland! OMG, I could just get lost in your craft room for days...without coming out for meals! and there were so many things I saw in your other posts and in your sidebar that just made me sigh in delight! I'm going to try this yummy recipe real soon, and your homemade laundry soap too. I'm so happy to meet you. Have a very lovely weekend! :) Paulette
