I Love a Man in the Kitchen!

Ann & Mitt Romney,
learning to bake award winning pies at Sweetie-licious in DeWitt, Michigan.
~
I love a man in the kitchen!
Our boys in the family have always helped in the kitchen!
Doesn't make them any less of a man!
(He is holding a great quiche dish!)
My honey is even known to wear an apron now & then!
Start when they are young!
What goes good with milk? Yeap....COOKIES!
My eAsY ;) recipe for these heart cookies is here!
Now here is a recipe for Taco Quiche that my hubby makes!
(Yes, real men eat quiche!)
He found it on the Internet and it has become a family favorite!
Whenever I have the whole family come for dinner, it's the men that do the dishes. Not that we asked, they volunteer to do so!
Love my boys!
This journal/cookbook is in my Sassy Sadie Lee Etsy shop!
~
Now wishing you a wonderful day!

You found some wonderful photos here, looks like the 40s and 50s, an idyllic time for me growing up. I do love a man in the kitchen, and that man is my dh, who is the talented cook in our family.

My man doesn't cook, but he's a dab hand at cleaning up! And my son does cook with and for his wife. Men in the kitchen do very well. The taco quiche looks yummy!

Is there ANYTHING more adorable than a man cooking? Yup! A man cleaning up:>) When I began dating Earl, the first time I went to a family gathering and all the men got up and did the dishes while the women chattes, I knew I had found true love. Lol
And I really had.

Love the pics in this post. My boys both cook-youngest is known at college as the Pieman. He can whip up a homemade crust in a second- and it's really good.

Such a beautiful post. Your absolutely right that we must start to teach our children young to help out around the kitchen. It makes for a well rounded family life in the present and future!

My daughter in law thanks me for teaching my son how to fill a dishwasher and vacuum a floor. So important to teach our boys how to do things around the house. Mimi

Men in the kitchen. Why not. With so many great chefs being male, they had to get in there sometime.

That sounds so wonderful. My son lives on his own now and he can cook. My husband and I cook together a lot, which is big fun, so my boys cook too ; )
Have a great day.
