Yeah, I'm also one of your homemade laundry powder converts, too...and with the pink ZOTE soap, it is the prettiest laundry soap around :) :) I'm off to read Ruthann's post!!! Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)

Glad to see she uses the castile soap...that Fels Napha doesn't really smell very good.
It's a great money saver.

Hey Darlin'! Thanks for the shout out! So many gals are so excited about making their own laundry soap thanks to you!! I want to try the Zote soap but haven't seen it in the stores here so I may just order it on Amazon. I hope to be coming out to Cali sometime during the end of May or beginning of June, I sure would love to come see ya for a bit!
Hugs Honey!

I have got to find out this detergent recipe for myself! My mom always used borax and I of course loved the commercials for it because of the mule train : )
much love...

Thank you for the recipe, it's like a bath in cotton candy!

Loving your blog!

Today I'm posting on Dolly Mama Monday and her dream home. You might like to take a peek.

Smells like peppermint, a good way to start the week.

Love the soap recipe, but read about that Fels bar soap and it is petroleum based, which isn't good for environment and some with allergies, so am sticking with the Zote, Ivory or Castille soap choices. I LOVE the pink of the Zote will use that for sure. Thanks for all the tips and lovely photos. (amazon has the items if folks can't find them in local stores)

My oldest daughter just made some and she loves it too. I'll be making some as soon as I get rid of my huge vat of soap from Costco! Looks like that tea party was a lot of fun. Mimi

Oh I love my homemade soap too.
Maryjane, can you join us ladies for a bit of thrifting and lunching on Saturday??? I so hope you can. They are going to meet here at my house. Then, who knows. I was hoping that Anne might be available to join us too, and that she might allow us to see her fabulous property as well.
Fingers crossed you can come!

I'd sure love to try it but hate to make up a whole batch. I can't even begin to tell ya the stuff that comes in on Farm Boys Jeans.

As I said before, Tide has been the only detergent to really get 'em clean.

God bless ya and have a beautiful week sweetie!!! :o)

So cool! We are going to give a try at making our own laundry detergent too. Should be fun!

And thanks for the new blog to read! She obviously puts as much TLC into her blog as you do yours!
