Recipes from the baby shower I promised!

Yummy Cheese Ball
2 - 8 oz. cream cheese
1 cup thinly sliced ham
3-4 green onions, chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
several black olives, cut in fourths
Mix together all ingredients. Roll into 2 cheese balls.
Wrap in plasic wrap and chill overnight or several hours.
Wrap in plasic wrap and chill overnight or several hours.
(Most times, we can't wait and start right in!)
Serve with Wheat Thins Crackers.
Chicken Salad
This is so yummy! I double it for a party.

4 cooked, chunked, chicken breast
1/2 can chow mein noodles
3/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayo
1/4 tsp. curry powder (I use a little more)
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1 can sliced waterchestnuts - drained
1 package slivered almonds
handful of diced red grapes - optional
juice of 1 lemon
Mix all together, except chow mein noodles. Chill. Add noodles just before serving.
Party Punch
~
1 gallon Hawaiian Punch - Polar Blast (it's blue)
1 - 2 litter 7-Up!
Enjoy!

The cheeseball looks great! Simple recipe!! And that chicken salad.....oh I think I'm buying all the ingredients tonight on my way home from work!!!
Wow this recipe is similiar to mone I use to make for large groups at our church and I had lost the recipe. Yeah...this one I will try.
The cheese ball is yummy looking also...I do love to use these for Sunday afternoon snacking...lol

By the way, I am still using the homemade laundry detergent and will be making my next batch with Zote. I found it at Big Lots for something like .75 a bar. :)

That's the prettiest cheeseball I've ever seen! I love how it looks with the crackers and the knives you used. And my daughter is always on the lookout for a yummy chicken salad recipe. This one is so unique--I can't wait to try it.
