Cherry Cobbler In A Jiffy!

If you need an idea for a easy dessert for the week, here ya go! 
I posted this a couple years ago but good enough to re~post! Enjoy!
 Easy Cherry Cobbler

1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
21-oz. can cherry pie filling

Place butter in an 8"x8" glass baking pan; set in a 325 degree oven to melt. ( I melted mine on the stove in the dutch oven on low). Combine sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk; mix well with a wire whisk. Pour over melted butter; do not stir. Spoon pie filling on top of batter; again, do not mix. Bake at 325 degrees for about an hour, until golden. 
Serve warm. Makes 6 servings.
