My favorite tree in the house... For many years now, I have set up this sweet tree in honor of my Mother Gloria Mae andMother~in~law LaVerne. It reminds me of Christmases past and the loveliness they stood for. Both of my Grandmother's are remembered also. The picture above is of my Grammie Alberta Maxine, a model at age 16 and the white crocheted bell & snowflake were made by my Grandma Sadie Lee!
Thank you for coming by for a visit! I have enjoyed another year of blogging with you! ~ Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!
Each year the family room mantle is a little different.
We now have 22 stockings with our 12thgrandbaby coming! Each Christmas Eve they are filled to the brim and over~flowing for Christmas Day when they all come for dinner. We can't wait! I made all these and added their name with German glass glitter.
My friend Leanne made these darling, whimsical stockings for this year.
It's so hard to keep track of these Elves at Christmastime! They love to play "hide & go seek"!
Are you ready for Christmas?! Now, where are those Elves? I need their help wrapping!
Just a little post. I made several of these sweet candles. I bought the plain/clear candles at the 99 Cents Store, printed out pretty graphics from my stash, added a tiny wire handle if I want to hang them and then embellished them. I even sprinkled glitter inside the candles! Here are 4 on a table in my front room. They look so pretty lite up! xox
My little trailer is nice and cozy, ready for Christmas fun!I love spending time reading, paper crafting and pondering there. When the grandkids come on Christmas Day they may (as always) want to spend some time in the trailer playing a game or two. It is actually ready if any of the family members traveling would like to sleep in it! A sweet feather bed is under the bedding to keep one warm and toasty!!! Enlarge all the pictures for detail.
This is my little electric fireplace from my craft room. Perfect for the trailer! I have questions on the little heater...I bought it at Lowe's last year and yes it makes a room large or small, quite toasty! It has 2 settings. The flames in it look real as they dance around! Clever design.
My vintage Christmas stocking when I was a child!
Goodies are in the gingerbread men canisters.
The rain is coming so I am going to make some hot chocolate!
A little vintage Christmas tree from the 1950's made out of wire hangers! And the lights still work!
Hope you enjoyed my little home tour of my 13 ft. 1957 trailer! May your Christmas be Merry & Bright!
Hello and Thank You for visiting my blog!

I married my high school sweetheart many moons ago! I keep busy in my studio crafting & sewing vintage style, I play house & camp in my little 1957 vintage travel trailer, I live a little vintage by cooking comfort foods, make my own heavenly scented laundry detergent, ride a PINK bike, and wear an apron. I enjoy having family & friends in my home. I love to serve the Lord and give thanks to Him for all of my blessings. Life is good!
