I am having way to much fun making "snowmen"! They are fast and easy! These are the cutest popcorn wrappers that you can find on Laurie Furnell's blog. Once you get there, click on "freebies".
Laurie Furnell The hat is a pair of gloves and the wrapper is wrapped around a bag of microwave popcorn!
Instead of tape, I used address labels and added my blog link!
I find inspiration in blogland! When I find a idea one of you have shared, I JUMP out of my chair leaving the computer to the page that inspired me and go to work! Today I found inspiration on Liz's blog...Rose Vignettes. She has a sweet little corner where she keeps her teas, etc. Here is what I created in about 3 minutes! This little herbal tea station is between my stove and frig.
At the Tea Party I posted about below, I found my favorite herbal tea EVER! Caramel Apple Herbal Tea from The Republic of Tea. I bought it online and they shipped it out so fast.
I love to add a little milk/cream and raw sugar. Yum.
I keep the creamer in the frig with this darling beaded doily glass cover on the top. I have several of these for my outdoor tea parties.
THANK YOU sweet bloggers for all of your inspiration! You make my day!
Friday I was invited to "A Autumn Tea Party" hostessed by my friend Kari! Kari is a gracious hostess and loves to please her guests. Detail is her flair and she is good at it! You will see it in all the pictures I took. I gasped as I walked in the door. Thank you Kari! xox On my sidebar is another tea party she hostessed last summer..."Gifts of the Sea".
She had lovely music piped on the outside as well in the inside of her beautiful home.
A hand painted portrait of Jane Eyre. Kari wrote a musical about Jane Eyre that played here to New York. Her talents are endless.
The menu was unbelievable!
I made the pumpkin scones and spread.
My favorite herbal tea was Caramel Apple! I added 2 tiny teaspoons of raw sugar & a little cream. Yummy
Look at the darling display of individual pumpkin pudding!
She had us each bring one of our favorite books to share and tell about. We all went home with a new book to read. Kari's little 9 year old daughter even shared her book! So sweet.
Here is a fast little gift giving idea! You can make up a lot of them all at once and have them ready for guests or give to your neighbors. I bought everything at the Dollar Store (except for the ribbon & tags which I made). Yes, even the doilies! 2 for $1.00! The stemware has pretty curves and a diamond~likelook. I weaved the ribbon through the doilies and pulled the ribbon tight so the candies won't fall out. Added a silver bell and a tag to finish them up.
Another easy~breezy craft!
My friend Robin is having a Christmas Boutique in her home the first of December. I am so exciting to be a part of it! Busy making goodies. I will be having a Spring Boutique in my home the first of April...fun, fun!
On Tuesday I was busy tea~dying tags and clothespins. That evening I stamped and glittered!
This is a set of vintage style clothespins and jute to hang up cards, pictures, hankies...
This clothespin set is to use to clip a card, a picture on a lamp, a curtain...or pretty just like this sitting out. Oh, la la!
