Feeling Some Changes Coming On!

Changes sometimes are a good thing! I am about to redecorate my entire home...
well, my tiny home away from home that is!
My little 1957 13 ft. Jewel.
I have loved my "pastel cowgirl" look for the past 3 1/2 years but I am ready for some little changes. The walls and floor will stay the same, just the accents will change.
Below you will see the inspiration and the start of new things!

HINT: RetroThis is what my trailer looks like at the moment.

Here is my inspiration, found in this book called
my cool caravan
is a darling 14 ft. travel trailer!
The colors make my heart sing... Isn't this trailer adorable!

Here is the start of my goodies to making my little trailer Retro...colorful!
I bought everything at HomeGoods
(except the flag banner)!I gasped when I saw these utensils, more polka dots!
and polka dot tea towels!
Tiny colanders for fruit or snacks!
Isn't this flag banner darling! I bought it from Becky at Cottage Sweet Dreams. I love this rug to brighten the floor! Now I need to pick out some fabric for my daughter-in-law Stephanie to sew me up some cutie pie curtains! Do you still have the measurements Stephanie?!
And I need some new bedding, accent pillows...etc!
~
Hubby and I have a camping trip planned in May for our 39th anniversary! Yes, we were young..18 & 19! I will take some pictures to share of our little caravan trip!
P.S. I will keep all my "pastel cowgirl" decor in case I change my mind ...again!

Goodness in a 9" x 13" Pan!

I am sure you all know this trick! Take your favorite
Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe and prepare the ingredients. Pat in a 9" x 13" pan and bake.
When cooled, cut into desired size squares.
I have even used a heart cookie cutter to make heart shaped cookies.
Makes several yummy & chewy bar cookies in one baking!
Great for when the family says "come on over!"
You can go with a plateful of bar cookies!
Have a wonderful day!

Merit for Re~posting...Cinnamon Rolls!

It has been 2 years since I posted about my yummy cinnamon rolls!
So for my new blogging friends or those who have said "where did I see those easy cinnamon rolls?"
This post is for you!

Make up a batch! You will love them!

Easy Cinnamon Rolls

(Semi~Homemade!)

1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed (I use the brand Rhodes)
2 tablespoons melted butter
2/3 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup heavy cream
2/3 cup sifted confectioner's sugar
1 tablespoon milk
dash of vanilla
~
PREPARATION
Roll dough into a rectangle, about 8x6 inches. Brush with the melted butter. Combine brown sugar, chopped nuts, and cinnamon. Sprinkle over dough. Starting at long edge, roll up, jelly roll fashion; moisten edges and seal.

Cut roll into 20 slices. Place rolls, cut side down, into two 8 inch lightly buttered round cake pans. Let rise for about 1 1/2 hours. until doubled. Pour the cream over the rolls and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Combine confectioners sugar, milk, and vanilla, adding more sugar or milk if necessary. ( double this part!) Drizzle over rolls while slightly warm.

Makes 20 yummy cinnamon rolls!

Warming up after her bath!

This is little Samantha my 4 lb. Maltese warming up and drying off after her bath! She hates for me to blow~dry her dry. She loves to sit in her little bed (1 of many!) in front of my little electric fireplace in my craft room. This little heater is so darn cute and keeps the room toasty while crafting! Sometimes I think it is real, especially during the evening as it's flickering glow dances off the walls and ceiling.

Little Samie has fallen asleep now as I write this post. She will not be happy at all when I wake her up for her comb out! Poor little thing...LOL!
