Salt Water Sandals

Even tho Fall is almost here, it's still Summer in California! I was visiting my sweet friend Cat from The Vintage Housewife. She owns a darling vintage trailer to and we love going "glamping" in our little trailers! We also love to shop & have lunch together! She dresses in the cUtEsT vintage clothes and has shoes & accessories to match! On her blog recently, she just talked about a pair of sandals she loves called Salt Water Sandals! Well, I just had to give them a try and bought a PINK pair. They are soooooo soft, comfortable and so very vintage looking! Today I ordered a BLACK pair & a WHITE pair! You can wear these in the water and Cat says that hers have lasted for years!
Excuse the bad pedicure but just had to show you them! I ordered the sandals last week and they were here in a jiffy! This is where I bought mine: http://www.gotleather.com/
So fun to share!
Humm...red, blue, tan, brown, purple, yellow....oh my!

HI Maryjane...

Those sandals look super cute and super comfortable. I love shoes that let my feet breathe...but still provide a measure of protection for the bottoms of the feet, too!!! Enjoy them :) :) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

I love Salt Waters. All four of my children grew up in them...in every shade of color as their feet grew. I kept some of them. Like my son's first navy blue pair when he was 2. And my daughter's petal pink(like yours) when she was 1. They look darling on you! ox

I used to buy those when my girls were small! We all had some. They were the 'shoes' that lasted the longest. We are all hard on shoes. I will have to see about ordering some for the grands now! Thanks for the link!

Hi Maryjane!

I have really enjoyed your blog for some time now, but am just now leaving a comment. Actually, I had a question. Your camper is so cute, as is your friends! But how do you keep the camper smell out of them? Especially the vintage campers that have been shut up for years? Usually just looking at a camper passing us on the road brings up the smell to my mind! Surely there is some way to keep them fresh?

Have a good day!

Hi Maryjane! These are just about the ONLY sandals I'll buy for my girls!!! (Ok, the Gigi may buy others, but NOT me!) And I have my own as well and just decided nest year not to buy anymore of anyother type because my Saltwaters still look brand new after 2 years, and my others are ragged! And we live on a farm and I'm really, really not that clean!!! So Yippee!!! For Saltwater Sandals! I was actually going to do a post myself...maybe you've inspired me to get it done! They are great for multiple kids too!!!
Ok, got wordy!
