Clothesline Fresh!

I have been looking for a drying rack to dry my hankies and vintage linens. I wanted a vintage one but they can be quite pricey. When I was recently in Walmart I found this wonderful drying rack for only $19.00! I jumped with joy! Walmart carries a lot of old fashioned items. This drying rack works perfectly and with my use of it, I can make it vintage! We even used it last weekend while camping with our grandchildren!
It looked cute sitting right next to my little vintage trailer.

I hand washed my linens with my homemade laundry soap.
You can find the recipe on my sidebar!
Nothing like the smell of sunshine dried clothes laundered with homemade laundry soap!
It's the little joys in life that can make your day bright!

My new laundry room sign!

I made a laundry journal for fun!

Have a wonderful day sweeties!

I do love the drying racks. My first one from wal mart was all wood..the rails..after years of using it have mildewed a bit.
My new one from a few years ago had plastic coating on the rails..I like it better for using all the time. For here at the house
we used it in the summer for swim suits on the back porch..in winter for sweaters..and such.
Now they are both in the House on Wheels..waiting for future wash and dry days.
I love how you used yours...

Hugs..Cindy from Rick-Rack and Gingham

I'm so glad you found this one. I have a vintage one that I bought about 20 years ago..it's up in my attic and I had forgotten all about it. Yep...I'll be getting that down right away.

Oh I cannot live without one! I got an older one at Suzanna's and just love it. Last one I got at Target was not all wood and fell apart a lot! Kmart used to have them all the time for under $10! My mom had one for years when I was little and I just think they are the best ever! ENJOY! I will keep Wal Mart in mind if I need a new one. Hope it will be years though!

I'm really lucky for I have an old vintage wood one passed down from my Mom. I use it for my special linens. I use my clothes line for everthing else. I so love the smell of fresh outdoor drying. I so love all your pretties on your clothes rack. I agree Walmart is missing out!

I have a vintage large drying rack and have yet to decide what to do with it. I was going to display vintage tablecloths on it, but don't really have a good place for it. I think I will do as you have done -- use it actually for drying things!

I found this by round wooden clothes drying rack that I think would be great for displaying fabric crafts. Since the top rotates customers could spin it to the pieces they want to see.

I have a drying rack and I love to use it. Now that the weather is better, I'll be using it outside to dry small things. Saves using the dryer and the clothes smell so fresh.

Hi, I noticed in a previous blog that you had a set of Marble Canyon dishes...can you tell me where you got them? I am looking for the Ramblin' Road line and I can't find them anywhere! Your help would be appreciated! You can just respond to this post and I will get it.

Thanks a million!

Hi Megan,

I got my Marble Canyon dishes from a friend awhile back. They are collectables now since Marble Canyon is out of business. Try eBay or Etsy! Good Luck!
