Merit for Re~posting...Cinnamon Rolls!

It has been 2 years since I posted about my yummy cinnamon rolls!
So for my new blogging friends or those who have said "where did I see those easy cinnamon rolls?"
This post is for you!

Make up a batch! You will love them!

Easy Cinnamon Rolls

(Semi~Homemade!)

1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed (I use the brand Rhodes)
2 tablespoons melted butter
2/3 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup heavy cream
2/3 cup sifted confectioner's sugar
1 tablespoon milk
dash of vanilla
~
PREPARATION
Roll dough into a rectangle, about 8x6 inches. Brush with the melted butter. Combine brown sugar, chopped nuts, and cinnamon. Sprinkle over dough. Starting at long edge, roll up, jelly roll fashion; moisten edges and seal.

Cut roll into 20 slices. Place rolls, cut side down, into two 8 inch lightly buttered round cake pans. Let rise for about 1 1/2 hours. until doubled. Pour the cream over the rolls and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Combine confectioners sugar, milk, and vanilla, adding more sugar or milk if necessary. ( double this part!) Drizzle over rolls while slightly warm.

Makes 20 yummy cinnamon rolls!

Oh Maryjane... I've gotta try that recipe! I'm drooling!! Sounds pretty easy & I think I could get my hubby to make them (he's the cook here).

I'm listing blogger businesses on my sidebar and wonder if you would like to be included. I would need your permission to copy one of your photos and link it to your blog. Peeps can see your blog and hop to your shop. Let me know!

big hugs, Sherry

Maryjane I love cinnamon rolls, but I love art even more:) So, I'll put my appetite on hold for now, because I love the coaster in the 4th pic! -it looks like its knitted or crocheted? Do you know it's origin? (for a pattern). Thanks for writing me back!

Maryjane,
I've visited your blog many times but I'm not sure if I've ever left a comment. Your site is beautiful; you have such talent! I'm wanting to make your Cinnamon Roll recipe and I'm wondering where I might find the frozen bread dough. Do you buy the "Rhodes" mix and then freeze it? I've never made homemade bread but if you have a good recipe that would work for these cinnamon rolls, can you let me know...I do have a pizza dough recipe that I freeze half of. Could I use that?
