My sweet friend Kari S. gives a beautiful Tea Party once a year. This year she chose the theme: Gifts from the Sea by Ann Morrow Lindberg. Kari's touches were stunning and uplifting! This year it was held outside in her large pavilion.
I love her property because it is acres of land, filled with gardens and entertainment areas.
One of the views from the pavilion was her black Angus cow, grazing! Just picture perfect!
Here are a few pictures of MANY I took!
...a sweet day!

Look at this menu! Each delicacy was baked/cook and prepared to perfection! Oh Kari, I am so impressed!

Since the tea party was outside, I still HAD to show you her beautiful living room!

End to a beautiful day!
Can't wait for her next Tea Party! Thanks Bunches Kari! You are a sweetheart. xox

Absolutely gorgeous! I love tea parties, and am always looking for new ideas. I liked the crown napkin ring, and the menu was exquisite...what a beautiful tea, and what very lucky guests to have been there to enjoy the surroundings and the company!

Maryjane,
I am happy to hear you had the wonderful privilege of attending.
I had the privilege of attending one of her exquisite tea parties last year. It was held indoors in her a lovely home. Kari is simply an amazing entertainer and hostess. I felt like royalty! I was in awe of everything. My senses were taking it all in. Did you notice they were all different? What was especially touching was her kindness and generosity. What a a sweet gesture of Christ-like friendship and sisterhood. All of us were ooohing, ahhhing, mmmming and oogling at it all. I am certain you felt quite special as you drove home?? Great work Maryjane!
This post was total eye candy! Just beautiful! Thanks for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Looks like lots of fun. And a boatload of food! Fabulous. Mimi
WOW! What an amazing tea party! No wonder she only hosts it once a year, it takes her that long to get everything ready! How blessed we are to have such special friends who share so much of themselves with us.
Do you have a picture of the cow?
The table is just beautiful! Love te starfish and shells on top of the plates. Ooohhh and the treats on the table? I see cream puffs! Yum! :-)

You are one very fortunate lady! Having a friend create a tea party once a year just for you...and what a gorgeous, generous, time consuming party it was. I am so thankful you shared it with us. All the little details, and all the decorative touches, and then the beauty of her home. Wow!! What a party!
What a FRIEND Maryjane!!!Hahaa...Goodness!hughugs
Oh how pretty this is - the room; the tea party; the food. Everything is a feast for the eyes (and I'm quite sure it was also a feast for the tummy - I am drooling all over my keyboard looking at that food!) So many pretty sea themed dishes and accessories. I enjoyed seeing all of this. Thank you so much, for sharing this with us Maryjane. laurie

What a beautiful tea party. Looks like everything was scrumptious. Thanks for sharing your day. Kari did a wonderful job hostessing this one. Did everyone dress up for the occassion? I remember years ago going to tea . . . hats were encouraged as it was the theme. A wonderful speaker brought lots of vintage hats and spoke on their history and stories behind each one.
Hi, Maryjane,
Thank you for sharing Kari's lovely tea party with us. She has a gorgeous home! I love the theme for her party, too. Loved it all! Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for stopping by for a visit. Vicki

Very lovely & beautiful Maryjane...lucky you!
Boy that was some tea party!! Just a bit more then tea and cookies going on there. I have that book and have read it by Ann Lindberg.
Now what would your friend do if it was going to rain. did she have a plan? And did she make all that food herself? I mean talk about needing to lay down, was she awake at the party?
Beautiful inside pictures too. Sounds like you had a really nice time.
