Colors of Fall!

Fig Tree Quilts

Happy September sweet bloggers! I LOVE this time of the year! Do you? Even tho I have a houseful of PINK, I welcome the Fall colors. I love the coziness and yummy smells of Fall. I will enjoy it more when the days cool down and the fires are all out here in So. Ca.!
I love to scatter quilts throughout my home! I wish I was a quilter! I found some wonderful blogs where quilter Queen Bee's preside! They are wonderful designers of fabric and/or patterns.
They have delightful blogs!

hi maryjane and happy september to you, too!

you would love fall in new england. the air gets cool and crisp and the leaves turn the most beautiful colors. in my town there are some apple orchards with pick-your-own and we love to take the boys to pick apples and then come home and bake!

i bought a cute, brown corduroy dress today at old navy (i don't usually have very good luck there) so now i am ready for fall!

love,
elyse

What, pink isn't a fall color? Impossible! My house has a lot of pink, so what I find works for me are the raspberry colors of fall, along with greens and browns. And I'm with you on the quilts. I am a quilter, but I've given every one of them away for gifts. This year, though, I promised myself I would make one to throw over the sofa, so you got me inspired!
Have a wonderful day!

Hi maryjane
I love the fall too....funny how I always look forward to warm weather and then I can't wait for it to cool down! Oh well, I'm fickle I guess.
Thanks for the shout out! You are VERY sweet...and it's not too late to become a quilter!

I gave my daughter the journal and she was thrilled. Everyone around the table liked it. The card and the wrapping was a hit also. Thank you for sharing your talent.

Hi MaryJane,
I agree with Elyse!! Fall here in New England is wonderful. I haven't made my apple butter yet but very soon...
I am not a quilter, but my grandmother was. She would have probably loved those blogs. I don't know if she ever used a computer in her entire life though.

Yes, ma'am - I love this time of year, the most!

I hope that the fires will be out soon and you'll be able to rest better and enjoy the season.

Many Blessings,
