My friend Ruth and I had a blast the other day at my favorite place! Oh girls, my little shopping cart just knows how to zip up and down the aisles with my eyes closed! You can't beat HomeGoods prices!
All of my findings are for my craft room.
~
I found the most romantic and fragrant potpourri! It smells like fresh cut roses. I still have 3/4 of a large box to scatter throughout the house! The crystal pedestal bowl and candle I had already. I love the new look the potpourri gives them.
This sweet spray bottle was calling my name! Perfect for misting down my linens for ironing. Just like Mother did.
I gasped when I saw these PINK tin buckets! Lacy and pretty! I will put these on the very top of my craft shelves, filled with supplies and projects (tags, banners & journals) I will be working on for my Etsy store.
HomeGoods always has pretty pedestal cake plates! I love this one in a faint cottage blue.
My large cloche fits perfect over the pedestal plate! What fun I will have with this!

Hi Maryjane,
The pink tin baskets are the cutest things....they will be so great in a craft room.
My daughters recently took me to Home Goods for the first time and we had so much fun in each department. Amanda found the perfect black and white comforter set to go in the master bedroom of her new home. The set went perfectly with the deep red walls!
Thanks for the recipe for the laundry detergent. I'm getting ready to make my second bath, this time with pink Zote soap and I'll be sharing some with each of the girls.
Hugs,
Sue
That would be second batch, not bath! Sure is tough growing up!

Those tin buckets make my heart go pitter-patter! I must make a run to Home Goods!
HomeGoods...oh my...now I have to make a pit stop after work tomorrow...I love that Potpourri...it's made by my company, I think?

Susie

The pink tin buckets are great. They look large enough to hold lots of treasures. I have a Home Goods near me, and I have to visit it more often. Great finds!
Hey Maryjane.... I just adore that sweet spray bottle. You sure did find some very pretty things. I need to look and see if there is a Home Goods where I am now living... I have read so many blogs that they have been and found such great things.... maybe you could share some photos of your craft room with all your new pretties.....
Have a great weekend.

My very favorite store of all times, and your skill and creativity combined in choosing items...made me happy just reading this post today! I would have chosen some of these very same items...in fact, you made me want to visit the store again real soon! Beautiful post!!
Beautiful things you bought. I love the jar with the candle above it and the pink tubs.
I'm a Homegoods girl too!!! You found so many pretties. That rose potpierie(sp?) is so pretty. I may have to go see if I can find some. And I have the same cake pedestal...love it!
Oh, I do love HG also. Such a fun place. You found some of the neatest things. I really love all of it. The pink buckets are so different and so cute, and the cake plate is just gorgeous. It will be perfect to do a lot of different displays in with your wonderful cloche. Also I wanted to let you know that the next "Cloche Party" has been scheduled for Sept. 11th for the Fall season. Grab the button on my sidebar to remind you and to let your friends know. See you there. Hugs, Marty

I have got to get to that store. Ours is about 30 mile away but probably worth the trip. I will grab Mimi Sue and make her take me.
Thanks for your care and concern. I am doing much better now. Just a little sore still. My husband has gone back to Iraq so maybe things will settle down a little now. Janis
How did we live before HomeGoods??
Hugs
Becky
We don't have a Home Goods. Sigh... I love your new pretties. We do have a Ross and a Marshalls though.
Brenda
WOW! Those are gorgeous finds! I need to go to Home Goods...TODAY!
Thanks for sharing!
Oh MJ, what lovelies! I'll know NOT to go to HG because I'm watching my pocket book right now, lol!
I SO want to make some laundry detergent, thanks so much for sharing. I feel I can almost smell it through the computer!
Wonderful find on the hydrangeas. They ARE huge. The blossoms on mine got really big this year too, but not as many. I had trouble deciding whether or not to leave them on the bush or bring them in. I finally brought them in the other day. Will share pics soon; such beautiful color variances. (is that a word? LOL!)
Lovely finds! Must...get...to...Home Goods!
smiles

I, too, love Home Goods. What a great idea for a store.
I love how they have one of a kind furniture....you have to go often, tho, to check it out. Ahh...too bad.
Love the candle with the potpourri, however I have a warning for you!
A few years ago I had some candles near potpourri. During a party a guest offered to light candles around the place. She lit that one that I never did because of the potpourri. You guessed it, a fire right during my party in the dining room. So please be careful!
WOW I was just looking around and I found your blog. I am a newlywed so I am just starting. How many time took you to decor your home like that. It´s beautiful and reflects a looooot of love.
Hugs :)
