Collecting!

This is my very favorite glass paperweight out of 20 or so that I have been collecting for years. This one is in my craftroom sitting on my desk. My desk is a quint little dining room table hubby and I just bought in an antique store in Temecula, CA.
Collecting is so fun! This is only the tip of the iceberg in what I collect! LOL!

What do you collect?
~
I found some time to make myself a sewing journal! Here is the key to my craftroom! I hope to have the little unveiling soon! I changed rooms recently...bigger room and more sunshine. Just what this gal needs! I promise to share it with you very soon.

Hello there! I think I discovered you and your blog while reading about the home made detergent, but I'm not sure. I have so many blogs in my reader. I do see Lori up here, I know her too, so perhaps I met you through her blog. Anyhow, I just wanted to pop over to tell you that I love your sewing journal. Great inspiration. I collect button cards as well and I have copied them and use the copies on cards and portfolios, but I haven't used them on art journals (yet!). I collect about anything, but I am not focussed to be complete, I just want to have some stuff that interests me, and then move on to other things. I think it is way easier to tell you what I don't collect; cars, militaria and base ball cards. Cannot wait to see your studio. Have a nice day!

The question is not "What do you collect?" but "Is there anything you don't collect?" LOL

I love china, tea cups, linens, tea pots, anything tea or party related. I used to collect bunnies and picture frames but I don't have any more room for those!

I can't wait to see you new sewing room! How exciting!

I'll be watching to see what you are up to. Your sewing journal is so cute. I would make one but then wouldn't have anything to put it in. Dear Journal, I walked by my sewing machine today. See not so much to write about.

Your paperweight is beautiful. I had 6 or 7, had a yard sale and they're history now. I collect lots of stuff, but I'm running out of room to store it all when I'm not using it. And I decorate for all the holidays. I love all the stuff I have.

Hi, love your blog first of all. As for collecting, I love to sew so I collect fabrics, naturally. Ribbons, are a big weakness, I used to collect tea pots and tea cups, but needed to stop that. Also, cookbooks but I slowed that down as well. But collections are fun, I think.

Hi Sweet Maryjane. I'm not a collecter of any certain thing - BUT - I love many, many things. But your paperweight reminded me of my mom - she's collected them for years - they are just so beautiful - well, like my sweet mom. And now that I think about it - if I ever wanted a large amount of something - I'd love to have a lot of white ironstone pitchers. Love to put fresh flowers in them - so country. Right now I have about 10 and I love them all. Have a beautiful weekend. Cathy
