Nothing like a yummy and easy dessert for a family gathering! A family favorite here! Easy as Pie! (heehee!)
Ready made pie shell, bake.
Prepare Chocolate Pudding, the kind you need to prepare on the stove (makes a firmer pie). Pour into pie shell.
Whip 1 pint of whipping cream and add sugar to taste! Spread on pie.
Chill.

Hi Sweet Maryjane
You always have the greatest recipes! This pie looks so yummy!
Love ya.... Ann
Yummy looking pie!!! I think my mom used to make chocolate pie like that but she put mariagne ~ bad spelling lol ~ on it instead of the whipping cream.
Hugs,
Angela
We are having chocolate cream pie for my mom's b-day tomorrow!
Hope you are healing fast! Take care!
I think I gain weight just by visiting your beautiful blog. My mother made this pie years ago, and everyone loved it.
My favorite kind of recipe! I made a dinner for a neighbor last week (who just had a baby) and I intend to share that "easy as pie" recipe, too. I'm going to call the post, 'Faux Lasagna'. : )

That pie plate is scrumptious! Blessings.
Yum...maybe I will make one tomorrow. My kids love this pie and we usually only have it at Easter.
My oldest daughter (who is 12), loves that pie! We add bananas to the bottom of the crust before we put the pudding in. . . my grandma used to make it. It is a yummy thing!
That's one of my hubby's favorite pies and I haven't made it in awhile. It will be perfect to make for father's day.
O God that is just yummy, I am thinking to add some fresh fruits like strawberries, simple or dipped in chocolate. This will give a colorful look to the pie. Or a colorful fresh fruit arrangement served with the pie will enhance the presentation.
Too yummy cake.Love to eat.
