I love to crochet while driving in the car with hubby. I made three dishcloths this weekend as we took a little trip to AZ for our darling niece Collette's wedding/sealing. What a beautiful bride she made!
I just had to use my new vignette setting from my previous post to take pictures of the dishcloths that I am adding to my Etsy store. I love my vintage BLUE paperweights I have collected over the years.
Hummm, this PINK girl is loving this BLUE! Wishing you a wonderful week!
I love to crochet in the car, too and it's so much fun to see how much you can complete in one trip! I love your choice of colors and I love that dishcloth pattern, can you tell me where you found it? Happy Monday! XOXO Joni
What a darling dishcloth!!! Going to have to give those a whirl. We drive alot, from Cincinnati to Huntington, West Virginia, I should be able to accomplish alot. I also love blue and red and solved the problem when I got a blue set and a red set of Spode collectors plates a few years ago. I display the blue ones with all my creamware in the spring and summer and then I change to the red ones in the fall and winter. Glad the wedding trip went well. Have a Lovely Day~ Alicia
beautiful dishclothes. I really like that shade of blue. My Mom loves to make those also. Where did you get the pattern? or did you make it up like she does?? HA!!
Hi Maryjane, I just love visiting your blog. The things you make are so sweet & the things you share are so uplifting. I always leave your site feeling cheery. So much so that I decided to nominate you for a "Kreativ Blogger" award. If you would like to pass along the award, just visit my site & follow the guidelines.
I have a beautiful pastel multicolored washcloth that was made for me by a sweet woman named Kathy. We met while working at the Hill Cumorah Pageant & before we left last summer (we have been released) she presented it to me. Such a small token, but so appreciated. Your pretty cloths brought back that heartfelt memory. Thanks.
Look at all that blue in YOUR PINK house! Your dish cloths look so pretty. You know, they are just to pretty, I still have the beautiful ones you gave me and I won't use them because they look to pretty. You need to ugly them up a bit! LOL Glad to hear you had fun at the wedding. Love, Ann
I love those paper weights. They are just soooo pretty. I have a friend who makes these washcloths, and my grandchildren love using them. Thanks for leaving me a message about my recent post about blogging friends, and thanks for telling someone your passwords. laurie
Good morning sweet friend. Oh how I have missed visiting with you. Your wash clothes are sooo pretty. I would have known without looking that they'd have a sweet little ruffled edge!
I was in tractor supply this weekend and picked up my very first copy of MJF magazine. I was so excited to see Sisters On Fly featured. Were you in one of the photos? I still have a dream to someday be a sista!
Well I'm off to play in the dirt some more today. Its so much fun, isn't it?
Hi MaryJane I adore your crochet clothes. Another lady in blog land that goes under Starsfault also makes them. You have to check her out. She's from Alaska. May I ask what you mean by wedding/sealing? Is that an American saying? I love your pink vignettes also in your last post. Your blog is always sooooo beautiful. Love Claudie xoxoxo
Those are BEAUTIFUL!!!!! You are so talented! You should have called me while in Arizona...which temple did you go to? Snowflake or Mesa? If it was Mesa...that's where I'm at. What a wonderful time for your niece and family. Hope you enjoyed our weather? Right now it is gorgeous!!! Again your handiwork is gorgeous!
Hi Maryjane! You do beautiful crochet! I like to crochet while riding in the car with my husband too. Keeps my eyes off the road. LOL I crochet tiny baby blankets for the local hospital. These are for the tiny stillborn babies to go to the funeral home in. So sad but they requested them special so I do them for them. I also make a tiny little flannel gown for them to wear to the funeral home. I'm gonna check out your etsy sales too. Bless you, Shirl Shirls Rose Cottage

Hello Maryjane, thank you for stopping by and leaving such a sweet comment. I buy my seam binding on ebay from this person. I ordered her color swatch chart so I can pick my shades from that. I'm trying to build a collection of colors. The 100 yard rolls for $7.95 is a great price. Here's her ebay auctions. http://stores.ebay.com/jimtalyinc I hope that helps. Bless you, Shirl Shirls Rose Cottage
Hi Maryjane, I feel so honored that you found and left a post on my blog!! Your blog is just gorgeous and I enjoyed my stay visiting your blog. The dishcloths are pretty. Maryjane, I love the dishcloths you have made for me. they are beautiful and wear so well.I absolutly love the blue and white, they have a wonderful vintage look to them. LOVE YOU and MISS YOU!
Such pretty pictures, and the dishcloths are really lovely. I too am hooked to crocheting, but am not able to crochet in a moving car. And for some reason I like to make big things, like blankets and such, so not quite as easy to bring along.
Thank you for you lovely comment in my blog. I have thoroughly enjoyed my visit here with you.
Gosh Maryjane, I love those. My mother used to crochet all the time. When she tried to show me how, she couldn't do it slow enough for me to figure out what she was doing...so I never learned. Maybe you can show me sometime and I'll teach you how to hook rugs.
What a beautiful vignette in blue and white. I can't take my eyes off of the beautiful dishcloth that you crocheted. It would look perfect in my kitchen, but I don't think I could ever bring myself to use it on dirty dishes. lol
Oh My..those are beautiful! Of course I am a huge blue lover! Thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving such sweet compliments! It means a lot too me that other enjoy what I do!

The blue is so restful! Knitting and crocheting is something I've never been able to learn, despite the best efforts of more than a few very capable tutors!
Hello and Thank You for visiting my blog!
I am a Mother to 4...3 daughters and 1 son whom are all married with families of their own. I am a Grandmother to 13, (a Baker Dozen) who are my pride & joy! I married my high school sweetheart many moons ago! I keep busy in my studio crafting & sewing vintage style, I play house & camp in my little 1957 vintage travel trailer, I live a little vintage by cooking comfort foods, make my own heavenly scented laundry detergent, ride a PINK bike, and wear an apron. I enjoy having family & friends in my home. I love to serve the Lord and give thanks to Him for all of my blessings. Life is good!
Please come by again. My door is always opened!
Hugs,
Maryjane

It's too pretty to use. I wish I could do something on long car rides--like even read. Sadly, anything like that makes me carsick.
