Yesteryear Embroideries

Kathleen from Yesteryear Embroideries surprised me with this sweet dish towel that she made me! I have always admired her handiwork on her blog and now I have a sweet reminder of her in my home! Thanks Bunches
Sweet Kathleen,
I will cherish it always! xox

Hi Maryjane, I love hand embroidery and I have a hard time finding good pieces. I have a few, but nothing like we had at home when I was growing up. I remember my sister embroidering dresser scarves and then crocheting beautiful edgings on them, so beautiful. The towel is beautiful with the crocheted edging and I'm sure you'll enjoy it very much. Thanks for visiting me, come back soon.

It's so sad to go to flea markets and see all the beautiful embroidery from years past. Nice to know someone still makes such pretty pieces!

Isn't Kathleen's work just divine? But I do believe that Buttonwillow would like that dish towel for herself. Yes indeed!
