The goodies are already starting to arrive! This is a yummy pumpkin bread packed with chocolate chips! Oh, My!
Thanks Debi!
BEWARE: Scary looking Elves (but very nice)!
These are two sweet Christmas elves I have had for years. Each year they were in a different place of the house watching the kids to see if they were naughty or nice! The kids actually thought they were scary looking! My little dog Samantha doesn't care for them either! LOL!

One of my favorite Christmas plates, a Fitz & Floyd.

Peek-a-Boo, do you see me?! It's kinda hard to stay out of the picture when taking a picture of a "shiny brite" ornament! LOL!

I am enjoying visiting your sweet blogs and peeking into your homes especially during this Christmas season! It is like unwrapping a gift each time I do!

XO Maryjane

Your house is looking so Christmas-ey. Love your mantel in the family room. I think it's a good idea to start taking around gifts. That way you can enjoy them without being overwhelmed. Mimi

Sweet Maryjane, I hope I didn't hurt your feelings about your scary dolls. I'm just frightened by all dolls and have a friend who loves to collect them. So I tease her too!

Maryjane, Your house looks lovely. I would share mine, but my hubs just brought the boxes down today!! It may be just a tree this year. :)
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

Peek-a-Boo! I did see you!!! Too cute -- love that ornament!!!!

Love the Santa plate, too....

But those elves, um, your children are right. I'll bet your children were insomniacs the whole month of December! I showed our 14 year old and she was speechless -- I asked her if she agreed with your children about them being scary and she just stared at them, wide-eyed, and slowly nodded her head. She's gonna want to sleep with me, tonight....LOL

Many Blessings and Merry Christmas,

Oh, Miss MaryJane!
I forgot to tell you how much I've enjoyed looking and reading through all your Christmas posts!
Everything is just beautiful!

And it's so sweet that you helped your daughter decorate her tree!
Our younger daughter might let us, when she's grown but our oldest... I'm not thinking that she's gonna share...

Merry Christmas,

Hi Maryjane! Oh I love your little Xmas things, and I collect fitz and floyd too, they are such wonderful pieces! and the elves are adorable too!!

and yes, I don't usually ever have to sand off or take off the old finish. The only time I would do that is if I was re-staining a piece another wood tone etc. But when you paint a piece, all you have to do is very lightly sand it ( even though I didn't do that to mine , it was in pretty good shape to begin with ) or not sand at all and use a really good primer. I use Zinsser because it covers almost anything and protects it too. Hope that helps sweetie!

Thanks so much for your sweet comments too! ~ Hugs ~ Cynthia
