Strawberry Patches

This passed weekend while visiting my son Nathan and his family,
my daughter-in-law Stephanie took me to the CUTEST fabric store ever! It is called Strawberry Patches located in Bakersfield, CA.
Oh girls, we sure had fun and it was hard to tear myself away from this store. I felt like I had died and gone to heaven!
~
Below is some fabric I bought to make some pillowcases
and aprons! Isn't the ladies undies adorable!
The ric-rac is a hugh 1 1/12 inches!
I can't wait to go back to play with the grandbabes Brayden & Sadie
and sneak over to Strawberry Patches!

If you are in the area stop by and say hello to Suzanne!
I dare ya not to buy some fabric! LOL!

What an absolutely gorgeous store. I LOVE material. I love holding it in my hands and caressing it. I buy tons of fabric....and don't know how to sew..LOL..One day,,one day, God willing I will and than I can start using some of the fabric I have. I do use alot of it now, but hanging it here or there, placing it here or there,,folding it and tacking it..lol.Does the job for now, as my sewing machine sits and stairs at me, waiting for me to taking sewing classes...

Ohmigosh! That place looks like heaven! The fabric is awesome and the displays are so unique! My husband hates to be with me in a fabric store. He says I become incoherent as I wander around touching the fabric. I AM all about the feel of it along with the look!
Blessings,
Lorilee

Hi Maryjane, oh my goodness what beautiful fabrics, and I love that ric rack! What a cute shop, I have to go check out their web site. Those cinnimon buns look yummy too. I make them the same way, you can also use a hot roll mix in the cake mix section of the stores. They come out good using that also.
