A Girls Best Friend...Chocolate!

Oh YES, this is one of the YUMMIEST, if not the YUMMIEST dessert I have ever eaten! One of my "sweet" daughters Heidi, made this for our family dinner a couple weeks ago and it was a huge hit! She is letting me share her recipe with you! My kids laugh at how I want to take pictures of everything now! Boy, did I catch the details of this slice of heaven!!!
You must make this!
You will thank me...well maybe not! LOL! Enjoy!
Thanks Bunches Heidi! xo

Pudding Pie Surprise
1 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
1 stick butter, soft
2 (3 1/2 oz.) pkgs. instant chocolate pudding
1 c. confectioners' sugar
2 (8 oz.) cartons whipped topping
3 c. milk
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese

mini chocolate chips
2 Heath Bar candy bars
~
In medium bowl, combine flour, nuts and butter; mix thoroughly. Press into bottom of a greased 9"x13" pan. Bake 20 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
~
In medium bowl with electric mixer, cream the cream cheese, sugar and one carton whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust. Refrigerate.
~
In large bowl, combine pudding mix and milk. Beat 3 minutes at low speed until thick and glossy. Spread evenly over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until pudding is set.
~
Spread remaining whipped topping on top. Then sprinkle top with mini chocolate chips and chopped Heath-Bar pieces.
~
Refrigerate until ready to eat. XOX

Just looking through your recipes when I came across this one. I have one similar but it doesn't have all the toppings on it. Next time I make it, I'll definitely add those. Thanks!

I stumbled across this recipe a couple days ago on Pinterest and pinned it, so excited to give it a try. I made it last night for a Lia Sophia party I was hosting and it was a hit! Only five people came plus myself and the woman that sells the jewelry and it is gone. My husband finished it off this morning.
