Make Your Own Cards and Save $$

I have been collecting vintage-looking graphics for a few years now and thought I would put them to GOOD USE! Most graphics I have Googled for free ones and others shared with friends. I am saving sooooo much money making my own cards and I enjoy doing them. I put them in a folder and have them divided into sections, Birthday, Anniversary, Get Well, etc. No more running out the door last minute for a card! Pictured are the supplies I use. If you cut a 8 1/2x11 inch of GOOD, heavy cardstock in half, you can made 2 cards. I also use the same quality paper to print my graphics out of. I use scrapbook paper for my background. Print out graphics the size of the card you wish to make. Distress/buff all the edges by using brown craft ink to make it look old, also use glitter & rubber stamps if you would like. Glue both layers to the face of the card.
I use a rubber stamp greeting/quote for the inside.
I also use a rubber stamp "postmark" to make it look as if it went through the mail!
I must warn you, making cards can be addicting!!! LOL!
If you have any questions just email me!

Thank you for the info, I of course printed some of the pictures . I wanted them all!! Anyway, I put it under my favorites. SOOO what do you mean distress the edges of the picture? I really think I will do this, I have glitter and lots of scrap book stuff, and lace etc etc. Nothing like a whole box of pretty home made cards.
