Life can be a bed of Roses...Today I planted in a big clay pot these miniature roses called "Melissa". My Mother loved roses & pigs so I added this sweet decorative piggy in honor of her! Sentimental touches! xo

Love the little pink roses, MaryJane! Will you add other things into the pot or will the rose fill it all up?

And I love the beautiful hydrangea, too. Such a delicate wash of color on those blossoms.

Have fun planting!

Oh, MaryJane!!!!
I love Sweetheart Roses!!! And they're pink!!!! We planted a little pink bush a few years ago -- all was well until we got a male puppy..... he "watered" them and alas........no more roses.
I should have put them in a pot, like yours!
Many Blessings,
Julie

P.S. I have sentimental reasons for loving them, too.... my husband brought me the most beautiful little coursages of them (when we were going to our high school dances) and..... his grandpa raised pigs, he raised them, as well, for many, many years!

What a pretty rose Maryjane, that's a sweet idea to plant that for your Mother, the little pig is so cute! I don't have my mother anymore either. She passed away in 1983 and I still miss her every day! I'm going to do a blog post for her this week.
Blessings,
Shirl
